Wrong format and ruin file PHPMailer.php

I'm learning and praticing the send email functiong provided by PHPMailer from https://github.com/PHPMailer/PHPMailer/blob/master/src/PHPMailer.php. It worked very well. But after I opened the PHPMailler.php and Format HTML in PHP extension format it file. The file was broken and was not format well.
