Why does the android version of the player not support ExoPlayer audio extension decoding?

Unity version: v2020.3.24f1c1 WindowsEditor AVPro Video version: v2.7.3 (Core Android Edition) Operating system version: tested on both Android 8 and Android 10 Device model: tested on both PICO4 and Oculus Quest 2

I have the same problem. Do you have any solution to the problem?

I have removed your last post as it is contravenes the T&Cs of the EULA. What functionality are you requiring from the extensions?

I think the player wants to support audio decoding for ac3 e-ac3 dts

We can look into adding support for those in the future. Here is a list of what we currently support: https://www.renderheads.com/content/docs/AVProVideo/articles/supportedmedia.html#audio-codecs

I thought ExoPlayer out the box supported ac3 at very least. The device also needs to support it at a hardware level though.

Thanks, but I think soft decoding can be supported for some devices that hardware does not support

hmmm, I think they should be supported on the Exoplayer API, but only if there is hardware support for it.
