Oh man, this is the first time I noticed that they added their Azure advertising to the .NET Core CLI as well.

ApplicationInsightsInstrumentationKey, really? Because everyone that does .NET Core obviously wants to use the Azure Application Insights product.

Actually, this template was built by me and is nothing to do with Microsoft. I plan to add other monitoring providers in future but use App Insights myself. That said, Microsoft will probably also do this if they haven't already. The key thing is that it's optional and not turned on by default.
