Corrupting log files?

I installed the script on my Horus X10sSE (OTx 2.3.15) and it works, but I found that it seems to corrupt the log files so that they can't be read by the logfile display feature in OTx companion. As I use this feature a lot, so I've reluctantly had to remove the script (reluctantly because I found it very useful!). I think the problem is related to the "INDEX" option - could it be disabled?

I don't see how the script could corrupt the log file? It is only read and never written to. The .index file will not affect this. Maybe you have a corrupt / fake SD card?
