Dimensions Toypad: Swapping deletes the tag.

Open LittlePippy opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

Quick summary

Unsure if intended or not but it should swap in place in place for the other, not delete the swapped tag. Tag 1 shouldnt remove tag 2, but instead tag 1 takes tag 2's place and vise versa if you know what i mean.

Details

originally i thought it was a keystone issue, and a completely different problem, which is why im at the earliest level with a keystone but it turns out the developer didnt implement swapping entirely. (also while we're at it can we have color coding too?)

as for color coding its probably in PR #15901 and to clarify the statement in the post above

Moving the toys doesnt actually "move" it Instead it removes entry 1 and then readds the entry else where Sure that technically is moving but since it readds the toy the game thinks its a second entry instead of the first

so now entry 1 is basically gone and replaced by entry 2 instead of entry 1 moving to another place on the pad

Also to note, pick up and place doesnt work. It removes them from the game but keeps the tag and continues to think its that tag which causes the game to be relatively unplayable until restarting it.
