Consider changing sys-whonix label to a less trusted color than black

How to file a helpful issue

The problem you're addressing (if any)

By default, all TemplateVMs and the Vault AppVm are labeled black.

Current default:

  • sys-net: red
  • sys-firewall: green
  • sys-whonix: black

No NetVM has a close enough color. Even exlcuding sys-net (red) that has PCI devices attached, sys-firewall

Black is far away from the other colors, and is using the same level as TemplateVM, which I believe is wrong.

The solution you'd like

Lower sys-whonix default color, not sure which one. To be discussed in this issue. I'd say yellow or orange, because although sys-firewall is green, sys-whonix has tor which can bypass NAT firewall.

The value to a user, and who that user might be

I know anyone can change the color, what I am requesting is a change on the default color, so all users have are informed of the nature of sys-whonix.

IIRC, the original rationale for sys-whonix being black is due to its importance as the VM responsible for the user's [ano|pseudo]nymity in all VMs that rely on it for Torified network access.
