CME Crypto Futures Map

Expected Behavior

  • Can trade cme crypto futures with IB

Actual Behavior

  • IB requires mapping ref https://ibkr.info/article/3049
CME (Bitcoin Futures): Enter the underlying symbol BRR in order to bring up the futures
CME (Ether Futures): Enter the underlying symbol ETHUSDRR to bring up the futures
ICE (Bakkt® Bitcoin Futures): Enter the underlying symbol BAKKT to bring up the futures

Potential Solution

  • Update https://github.com/QuantConnect/Lean.Brokerages.InteractiveBrokers/blob/master/QuantConnect.InteractiveBrokersBrokerage/InteractiveBrokers/IB-symbol-map.json
  • Double check all crypto cme futures to be safe (micro/etc)
