E.g. either Enhanced or Advanced Geothermal Systems. Cf. Aghahosseini and Breyer worldwide potentials in https://doi.org/10.1016/j.apenergy.2020.115769.

The current interest in this appears to be related to conversations between Tom Brown and Daniel Friedrich, who is my supervisor. It seems likely that I might be tackling this as part of my PhD - I will give a more detailed account in the next few weeks. Apologies for keeping it vague for now...

Update from @LukasFrankenQ at dev meeting (2.8.2022): There is a dataset that exists with cost of capacity expanstion and potentials. Including the geothermal potentials is gonna start soon. Update from @Irieo at dev meeting (2.8.2022): Implementation of advanced geothermal (different potentials & technologies).
