Installed - unsure how to use
Hi,
Wondering if you can give some advice please.
I've setup cdns on a Raspberry Pi running OpenWrt Chaos Calmer 15.05, I tried Barier Breaker 14.07, but I could'nt get my Ralink USB wifi adapter to create an Access Point. On 15.05 the wifi works.
My setup is I have a Lan interface connected via dhcp to my home network. This gets an adress 192.168.1.71. I have the wireless adapter setup to create an access point on which is acting as a dhcp router for the new 192.168.2.0/24 network, setup with a fixed ip on 192.168.2.1. I have added DNS forwarding to my home router and adding in rules to the firewall to allow routing between the different networks. So I can join my phone to the new access point and get online.
I then installed cdns. This installed smoothly, no issues.
THe first fime I accessed CDNS I had what looked like a responsive designed screen, with big buttons where I could choose which profile I wanted. I choose edge and fired up speedtest on the phone and still had a great 15-20Mb connection so assumed it wasn't working.
I then navigate my laptop to the 192.168.2.1 and this time got a desktop page, with QR. So tried to get the phone to launch the page from the qr code. Which it did, but that page just says. "Please connect to cellular data network simulator!"
I've checked in the code and think this is because of the subnet. So tried editing the cdns config file changing the interface to wifi and allowed subnets to 192.168.2.0/24. rebooted the pi and tried again. but i just get the same result.
So either it doesnt work on Chaos Calmer or Ive done something wrong.
Any help much appreciated.
Thanks
