I recently added JSDocs, which provided partial TypeScript support, but full TypeScript support could grant the TypeScript compiler a better understanding of this package and integrate it more neatly into your TypeScript projects. I'd be willing to accept a pull request for this, or you can sponsor me and I'll work out what needs to be done.
