Wavelet not working on iBasso DX170

As in the title, I can't for the life of me make the Wavelet app work with Poweramp on my iBasso DX170 music player (running Android 11). I believe I tried everything: granted Notification access and DUMP permission, enabled MusicFX in Poweramp, turned off Battery optimisation for Wavelet, turned Legacy mode on and off, restarted Wavelet, Poweramp and the device itself. Nothing. The only way I can make the app work is with the simple Equalization/Gain control options, but I don't see the more advanced features like AutoEq, Effects, etc. Switching between Legacy mode on/off only turn on the Reverberation button, but it's still locked. Is there anything else I could try?

The screenshots suggest you do not have any headphones connected, else more features would show up. If you already have them connected, the firmware is modified so much that iBasso broke a system API needed for retrieving information on how audio is routed.

I disconnected the headphones to take the screenshots. Not sure I understand the bit about the modified firmware. Does this mean that Wavelet can’t be used on DX170? Interestingly enough, Poweramp EQ seems to work fine.

OK, I just connected my Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro via Bluetooth and it got recognised immediately by both Poweramp AutoEq and Wavelet. Now how do I make it work wired?
