Wavelet was unable to instantiate Preset Reverb, Virtualizer effects
So I have been using this app for a while for the Auto EQ functionality, and bought the full version on google play. Upon turning on any of the paid functions, nothing happens. Reverb, bass boost, virtualizer don't do anything. I have started a refund dispute on Google, but I want to reach out here too.
My system is android 10 based MagicUI on a Honor 20. I am using an authentic version of both Spotify, and Wavelet,and an autgentic operating system. I really don't find what the problem is, as spotify is specifically listed as a compatible player.
I get the same error on my up-to-date Samsung S10e, which is running android 12. I'm not sure what triggered it, but it started popping up a few days ago. I'm a developer myself (although not currently developing for Android), if you need my help debugging this, let me know.
One thing that's easy to improve is to hide the popup if the reverb was disabled anyway: I only use the EQ.
After the Samsung image update I received yesterday (which seems to be only a security update: Android and One UI are the same as before, only a new kernel and Android security patch date are listed in the status menu) the problem has disappeared.
same problema here, bought the pro features and none of them works. Not even channel balance. Android 10 Motorola Stock Android.
I have the same message on Xiaomi 12 / MIUI global 13.0.21 / Android 12 / Wavelet 22.07

I get the same issue on Pixel 5 / Android 13, as mentioned in the related issue (143).
I am also getting this error on realme GT master edition, which was not coming earlier.
