No longer consistenty finding duplicate tabs - is this extension still alive?

This extension has worked excellently for many years, but recently it has become less reliable with detecting duplicate tabs. I have it set to simply detect any duplicate tabs by comparing the entire URL.

The last release was 5 years ago, so I'm wondering if updates are planned, or if this extension is EOL.

If no updates are planned, do users have a particular extension they recommend in its replacement? There are many similar extensions, but I always liked this one due to its reliability, simplicity, and flexibility. Also, the code is well-written, so it didn't take much time to review it all before installing it.

Thanks. I'm using Firefox, so manifest v2 is fine, but if @SwiftWinds has time for some bug fixing while they convert it to manifest v3, that would be great.

The groups of duplicate tabs are color shaded in an alternating manner so you can tell where one group ends and another begins. Theres now a button for each group of duplicate tabs that gets rid of all but one of the tabs in those groups.

Nice. Does the plugin now support Dark Mode? I don't remember if that capability was ever implemented.
