If there is enough interest I would also offer the app on google play. Of course without googles app sign or proguard.

There is no "don't care" smiley. Actually it would be good for you to get it spread more and get more feedback. Its not needed, imho. But you should claim the app-name so nobody can take the code, change something and release it under the same name.
This is a fork of BetterUntis, so I already took others code and released it under another name with my changes. I do this voting because I have no use if I release it on google play. I don't wanna steal someones work.
If there would be more "please release on google play" users I would do it for them.
I meant with payment. I have seen other OSS apps taken and releasend in the playstore for 3 or 4 euros without any changes. So, release it. No problem with the release of a fork. You don't steal someones work if you still add information about him according to his licence. If you don't care, well, don't :D
