Yes it is. There is no API for doing that.

It seems like the Tweak extension and Request Interceptor are able to do that).

For Tweak this is a paid feature though and Request Interceptor doesn't have a proper UI but needs to have predefined rules.

Have you tried them? Request Interceptor at least can't modify body (one reviewer's comment). And I doubt Tweak can either. I didn't try them yet.
