Stuck on Checking for updates

I tried installing it, I think I've set everything up properly, and when I execute the .jar file, it is stuck on Checking for Updates... pal_updater_2018-12-30_03-52-48

Not sure what is wrong, or what kind of updates I'm waiting for. But no matter what I do, I still get stuck here. Any ideas what is going on?

I did temp fix: delete c:\Users\You\AppData\local\PAL, downloaded the new version. Working Fine

This works for me try it.
