Check box support in the excel file

Hello,

I'm generating an excel file based on a predefined excel template (https://phpspreadsheet.readthedocs.io/en/latest/topics/reading-and-writing-to-file/#generating-excel-files-from-templates-read-modify-write). That template has few checkboxes so I was wondering if there is any way to populate(check/uncheck) those checkboxes in the resultant excel file.

Any help would be appreciated.

Form elements such as checkboxes are not currently supported in PhpSpreadsheet

its insane how for 8 years people are requesting this feature and until now its not available!

Is it insane? Or are Open Source developers/maintainers working free of charge in their own time (often several hours a day) to provide you with libraries not enough, and that we have to provide features on demand or be considered insane?
