Some ui issues

Hi! I'm trying out otter-browser with qtwebengine (qt5.6) from aur (archlinux).

I'm really liking it very much, but i find that it misses a better integration with plasma: all of the in-app icons are oxygen (as far as i can tell), and they're very ugly.

Plus, i'd like that menu button can be setted to "icon only" (instead of having icon + "Menu".

And it would be great if web panel on the left would save site icon (when available), so user can recognize them faster.

Last, but not least, it seems i've got no taskbar icon for otter. Here a screenshot where you can see every problem highlighted: http://postimg.org/image/ofes74n97/full/

@FedeDP, well, it is matter of taste, personally I prefer Oxygen icon theme over Breeze (especially file type icons...). ;-)

1. To enable system icon theme you need to go to about:config and set Interface/UseSystemIconTheme to true, it will require restarting application to take full effect. It used to be default but for unknown reasons QIcon tends to crash for unknown reasons with some icon themes for some people (perhaps it is some issue with libpng on their systems, but I would need to explore it more).
2. I can consider this since some time ago our toolbar widgets got ability to have options.
3. Indeed, for some time I'm planning redo for sidebar and I can take a look at this detail too.
4. That one is odd, perhaps icons are installed somewhere where KDE is not looking for?

I enabled system icon theme but nothing changed after restart.

Other UI issues: unable to change font on toolbar buttons, tabs and address bar (changing size in Windows settings did affect menu and sidebar lists).

Reload icon too big, bigger than address box, annoys me more than other icons.

Favicon too small, e.g. otter logo in website information button to left of url (smaller than close button).

Tabs look awkward without bottom border under inactive tabs; background of tab bar should be darker shade.

Many button icons need to be redone, e.g. new private tab looks more like add user than tab; new tab button should have large black plus on that folder not tiny gold one.

Search box border is wrong, has raised 3D look, should be inset or at least flat.

Anyway, I like where it's heading and it is much improved since the early version I tried. Could not see any option to register on forum so that's why I posted here.

@Emdek Tried Otter (appimage) and liked it. The only thing that annoyed me was inconsistency with the VDG guidelines. Keep up the great work.

in 2021 it's still dark icons with a dark system theme...
