Better bare metal support in OpenStack:

  • Ironic / MAAS support and integration with OpenStack for bare metal provisioning on demand with support for the vrouter-agent

Idea is to have better integration of BMS like instances with security groups and port security. Currently there is no complex SDN's that support hardware switches but OpenSDN is only one that tightly integrated into Juniper. I guess it is possible to propagate type 5 routes inside evpn fabric. Probably OpenContrail Command is a thing to look at.
