More memory need and running slowly for Hisex xTen data

It seems that fastp need a lot of memory for Hisex xTen data. Maybe as big as the fastq file. And it's running slowly when there is not enough memory image

fastp -q 5 -u 50 -n 15 -l 150 -j sampleA.json -i sampleA_L3_1.fq.gz -I sampleA_L3_2.fq.gz version 0.19.7

This seems weird.

Maybe it's about the high adapter rate, not nova or xten. Will higher adapter rate cause more memory use?
