Search bar issues

• [ ] search results bar on front page - links at right hand side should be on the left side and should be grey, text should be left justified, the whole thing should feel like a button i.e. the icon should highlight and be clickable as well as the text for each item. Might need a little padding as well to look good.
• [x] on mobile (iPhone SE) the search box expansion added white space to the right of the page in order to make enough space.
• [ ] the search results box on tree doesn’t pre populate with contents of search on front page after clicking on link from front page search - I think this is the best behaviour so people can easily then click on other links

This is inherited from not all of a search result being part of the link. The latin name isn't, possibly something else? Is this intentional or an oversight?

I think hold fire on this issue until we have some UX design done on the site and behaviour of search.
