Describe what change you would like :
The Developer Guide needs translations to reach a wider audience. Suggested languages are:
- Arabic 'العربية'
- German 'Deutsch'
- Greek 'Ελληνικά'
- Finnish 'Suomi'
- French 'Français'
- Hindi 'हिंदी'
- Bahasa Indonesia
- Japanese '日本語' , see #334
- Malay
- Portuguese (Brazilian) 'Português do Brasil' , see #267
- Spanish 'Español', see #323
- Chinese '中文'
Spanish translation of section 04-foundations was done as part of issue #239
Portuguese 'Português' translation of section 04-foundations - subject of separate issue #310 and #311

Hi @jgadsden. I would like to help translate the Developer Guide to Portuguese.
Hello @extern-c , sorry for the delay in replying, that would be great to have it translated to Portuguese. I will create a draft version tentatively named draft-pt, unless it should be draft-pt-BR ?

I would help translate it to Brazilian Portuguese, so I believe draft-pt-BR would be more appropriate.

it may be that we go direct to release-pt-BR, and skip the need for a draft-pt-BR, as the translation will use the English version release as its starting point
it may be that the existing release is renamed release-en-US, to be discussed :)

I have use the language code ja from ISO 639-1
unless you would prefer the code jpn using ISO 639-2
