Trackpad? It appears that a two-finger scroll just generates a scroll event, and a pinch-zoom generates a ctrl+scroll event.

Currently scrolling zooms and dragging middle mouse button pans, so this sort of conflicts with trackpad users. Once we have like settings and stuff it could just be a setting if scroll zooms or scrolls.

Maybe this is why in tools like Photoshop and Figma you need ctrl+scroll to zoom as well? I never liked this behavior and it's the first thing I change in Photoshop.

How does Google Maps work on trackpad?
