Spotify playlist extracting stuck at 50%

hello,

After exploring this module I found out that when using larger Spotify playlists (>100 numbers) the extracting process gets stuck at around 50%. This issue can be recreated by using the example.js file and selecting the Spotify playlist of 400 songs, it gets stuck there at 197.

Can you provide more info on your system, I just run the 400 tracks example and it still exports 398 tracks.

Hi, sorry for the late response. In the meantime I've tested the example on multiple machines.

  • Machine 1: running Windows 10 64-bit, npm: 8.1.2, node: v16.13.1
  • Machine 1: running Ubuntu 20.04, npm: 8.0.0, node: v16.11.0
  • Machine 2: running Ubuntu 20.04, npm: 8.0.0, node: v16.11.0
  • Machine 3: running Ubuntu 20.04, npm 8.1.0, node v16.13.0

All of them get stuck at around 190-220 tracks when getting the Spotify playlist of 400 songs. Smaller playlists like 30 tracks works fine. The hardware on all systems should be beefy enough to be able to run it properly.

I also experience this bug, but while running Nuclear. Running the Nuclear flatpak (version 2ec701) on Solus 4.3.

I had some success by changing the location my VPN routed through.

perhaps Spotify UI changes base on location
