Can the tools be compiled with VSCode for macOS?

Has anyone made a compile of these tools for macOS with Microsoft's VSCode compiler?

I'm able to get the project loaded into Microsoft Visual Studio, but the gplex and gppg are downloads for windows .exe files. Protbuf I have a macOS version loaded.

Can the output of gplex and gppg be saved and just hardcoded?
