Dell XPS 17 9710 microphone slient

Dell XPS 9710 microphone is slient with kernel linux_zen and latest kernel. However, I have tried Ubuntu 21.10 Live CD and the mic works just fine. Seems there is modprode options I am missing in the NixOS. Any suggestion about this issue?

Any firmware missing and reported by dmesg? You can also check if ubuntu enables any kernel modules/options that are not present in nixos.

This issue is getting more wired. The mic works fine in 22.05pre NixOS CD Live. I copied the asound.state to my installed machine and the mic worked just fine. But after the installation, the mic is broken again.
