Enhancing Project Submission page: Improving Design, Secure Data Storage, and Feedback [GSSOC-23]
Description:
I would like to propose a feature enhancement for the projects.html page, which is one of the main pages of our website. Currently, the design of this page appears overly simple and unattractive, which may discourage users from filling out the project submission form. Furthermore, upon submitting the form, users encounter a warning message stating, "The information you're about to submit is not secure. Because this form is being submitted using a connection that's not secure, your information will be visible to others." This warning can deter users from sharing their project details.
To address these issues, I suggest the following improvements:
Design Enhancement: Revamp the design of the projects.html page to make it visually appealing and engaging. Incorporate attractive elements, intuitive layout, and relevant imagery to enhance user interest and encourage form submission.
Data Storage Enhancement: Provide an option to store project submissions directly in a database or spreadsheet, instead of relying solely on email. This will streamline data management, improve efficiency, and ensure seamless retrieval of project details.
Feedback on Form Submission: After users submit the project form, display a confirmation message or redirect them to a thank-you page to acknowledge their submission. This will provide a positive user experience and reinforce their confidence in the successful completion of the process.

I have made the required changes, icould not do the spreadsheet storge feature because our server does not allow a POST METHOD
improved features:
- UI/UX of the form
- solve the error before on submit "the information you are submitting is not secure" as occurring. I have solved it.
- added form validation to check all fields are entered.
- added functionality to reset the form data on submission.
