Properly handle errors in Map-Search.js

Describe the bug Errors in Map-Search.js is not handled gracefully and crashes the whole page.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to Map-Search.js
  2. Throws an error, say, in connect()
  3. Visit ADC from local MetacatUI
  4. See error

Expected behavior As discussed here, map search shouldn't crash the whole page. Instead, grey out the checkbox and show an error message on hover.
