So I've now managed to get the ModernFlyouts up and running with Visual Studio. However, the settings are not saved. Could someone else send me an .exe?

I've installed version 0.9.0 and it works on Windows 11, this might be a temporary solution, until it's fixed.

Settings won't save when you run the app directly from exe

The 9.0.0 actually works for me. Thanks for the tip (: I still hope that the developers solve the problem. For the new version

So now I've tried it again. If you install 0.9.0 and then update it in MS Store then everything works.

I can confirm this issue. I have modernflyouts installed on my desktop and laptop. It works on my desktop, but doesn't on my laptop.

Confirmed also in Windows 11 Beta 22622.590. The 0.9.3 won't start.

This method didn't work for me. I installed 0.9.0 from Github, which worked successfully. However, I updated it to 0.9.3 in MS Store, and it won't start.

As for me, both versions don't want to start. I had this problem a few days ago

This is a very weird issue, i can still not say where this can come from. I have a laptop and a PC. Both of them have the latest version of ModernFlyouts, installed in the same way. Windows version is identical. Both fully up to date.

On my desktop after first install of the app, the app launched. Everything works fine as intended.

On my laptop the app won't start after installation, even not after a restart of the system. I have reinstalled Windows one time, and even after that reinstall the app doesnt start. I can try to start the app as many times as i want, but it just wont start.

Workarounds stated above doesnt fix anything for me.

Confirmed bug, won't launch on Windows 11 Pro 21H2 22000.978 either.

Still a confirmed issue, sadly. Any ETA on when we can expect this to be addressed? I've downgraded to 0.9.0 several times and it works, but what really annoys me is the inability to disable updates - so basically after the next boot or whatever it's back to 0.9.3 and not working. Anyone know a workaround for this? Deny network access for the app on all networks?

Another interesting and totally unrelated thing is that the process name has changed from "ModernFlyoutsHost" to "Bro_x64" :)

@netrom-live The updates get caused by the Microsoft Store so try disabling them there. Denying network access for the app won't make a difference.

You can also try the beta.
