[Feature Request] Markdown preview
Menu option to preview rendered HTML from Markdown. The implementation by ResophNotes and nvALT is to display this is a floating Window that renders output live while retaining (but not syncing) position in document. An alternative option would be to allow a locally synced file to be opened with an external Markdown preview app, such as Shiba. Another option could be perhaps to have a docked, window-in-window with rendered markdown beside the editor.
I just hope these Feature Requests are useful down the line :)
A Markdown viewer in a separate window would be possible I think.
One of the "design philosophies" of this project is that I don't want any extra stuff on top of plain-text (g no rich text editing etc. - only syntax highlighting and similar stuff). So a "preview window" is not on my immediate to-do list, but I wouldn't be totally against it.
So I'm putting this [on hold] because I will not be working on this right now - but if someone wants to implement this, feel free to open a pull request. (Preferably in the early stages so we can talk how it should be implemented etc)
I would love a markdown preview as well! A markdown preview button could display the "Markdown" version of the note.
