Gateway Version: 2110.2 - 1.3.2204.19002

To Reproduce

WAC is installed in the "Desktop" mode.

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Connect to a server when both the server and the client (where WAC is installed) are not in a AD domain.
  2. Both "COMPUTER-NAME\Administrator" and "Administrator" were tried as the username.
  3. Select "PowerShell" panel, enter the correct Administator password.
  4. The authentication fails with "Connecting to remote server COMPUTER-NAME failed with the following error message: Access is denied. For more information, see the about_Remote_Troubleshooting Help topic."

Expected behavior The PS remoting authenticates successfully.

Screenshots & Additional context No AD domain and workgroup is configured for all hosts.
