Prepare for upcoming changes to Obsidian Native's footnote features

Obsidian v1.6.1 adds autocompletion for footnote references using [^. After checking with the Obsidian devs, they said that they "have a couple other improvements in the works to speed up footnote creation and improve the footnote reading experience, so there might be some overlap with [this] plugin".

The plugin will have to be ready to adapt to these changes.

Obsidian v1.6 Desktop adds autocompletion for footnote references using [^, which supersedes this plugin's Footnote Autosuggest feature.

Make sure said feature is off by default and moved to a deprecated section.

Obsidian 1.7.0 adds the ability to "create new footnotes by clicking on the hover preview of a footnote ID".

Obsidian 1.7.1 adds "a right-click menu for footnotes to delete both the footnote and its reference". You can right-click the footnote marker and click Delete footnote and reference to delete both the footnote marker and detail in one step.

Obsidian 1.9.0 adds footnotes view, letting you view all your footnotes as a list in the sidebar. You can even edit footnotes from the sidebar view.

@Comprehensive-Jason Is this plugin even needed now with the core updates? What does it do that Obsidian doesn't?

@kbdragon You make a good point, which is why this plugin has gone without updates for a while. Most normal users should be able to get by with Obsidian's regular footnote features.

However, Obsidian still doesn't have native hotkeys to add named ([^texthere]) footnotes instead of just numbered ([^#]) footnotes. I'm also slowly collecting a list of QOL features to add in one go.

Ultimately this plugin is going to become some niche footnote tools for power users, like most other similar plugins in Obsidian.

@Comprehensive-Jason Oh no, I was asking, not making a point. I've been using this plugin for ages and wanted to figure out if I should keep using it. Thanks for answering and apologies if it sounded like I was critical.
