[FEATURE] Internal Faults for the GT and compressor
Internal faults to be added in MML3 (a literature review may be needed to validate them)
- [ ] Compressor fouling: reduction of the volumetric flow rate
- [x] Compressor underperformance: reduction of the isentropic efficiency of the compressor (may be attributed to the compressor fouling)
- [x] Compressor compression underperformance (may not be needed): to be studied since a reduction in the mass flow rate will definitely decrease the pressure ratio
- [x] GT turbine underperformance: reduction of the isentropic efficiency of the turbine
- [ ] ST capacity underperformance: reduction of the stodola coefficient
- [ ] ST underperformance: reduction of the isentropic efficiency
Already implemented in v3.7.0 :
- compressor_eta_is decrease
- compressor_tau decrease
- gas_turbine_eta_is decrease
The two last on stodola turbines should indeed need a litterature review, or a training (I should have one on steam turbines at some point), because I've asked several times if we should model them and got the answer that it is not a usual underperformance on NPPs 🤷
