Paste relation member multiple times
Currently the paste multiple times menu choice doesn't work when trying to paste relation members.
For instance, we want to paste 50 phone booths that are to be members of the Nerdson Telephone Company relation.
Currently we create a phone booth, copy it, and then move around the map pasting it 50 times.
Then we have to look around for those 50 booths and multiselect them and then we can add them to a relation. So that's a total of about 100 actions needed.
It would be better if we could create a booth, add it to the relation, then copy the booth, and then paste the booth 50 times. However currently the relation falls off. I.e., never copied in the first place. Certainly there are legitimate uses for copying it, no?
See also https://github.com/openstreetmap/iD/issues/9394 .
(And even if multi-selecting wasn't that hard, we still have to avoid other companys' telephone booths, and also our own booths that we have already added to the relation and don't wish to the add to the relation twice.)
We explicitly do not maintain relation membership when copying objects as this is the least surprising and "harmless" option. With other words this is working as intended. I might consider providing some kind of option for this, but it likely would not be persistent as too dangerous.

Perhaps, but not your presented use case: https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Relations_are_not_categories
Good! Because I am actually trying to map something like https://www.openstreetmap.org/relation/14126302 as seen in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fv8f3WqQcdA .
So I am thinking if she didn't have any trail markers already on the map, she could add them, without any second step needed of going back to add them to the relation, because they could already be part of the relation "from birth".
She could just go along the trail and add them in sequence: paste, paste, paste.
