Preference for consistent menus

The idea of menu items going to the bottom of the screen and then the remainder remaining in the menu, is wonderful. Except it causes the menu to become inconsistent.

Often we tap the three dots looking for a familiar menu item, only to realize that is now so-called conveniently on the bottom of the screen.

So perhaps there might be a preference added: to repeat items in the menu anyway, even if they are also on the bottom of the screen.

That way, some people could enjoy the (current) shorter menus, and other people could enjoy stable menus.

Sure I can add a preference, but naturally a preference alone will not do anything.

While it is possible to work around standard Android menu behaviour, it requires using deprecated features and is not guaranteed to work. Not to mention that interaction with accessibility features is outside of our control.
