When pushing the 42, screen didn't scroll down enough

Here I tapped the 42 on the top of the screen. And indeed the screen scrolled down. But it didn't scroll down far enough. I had to manually scroll it further down to be able to get to the point where I could enter the address, 17. I assume what happened was first I changed the tag of building into an additional tag of Community Center, which caused the app to misestimate the length of the screen. So upon pushing the 42 at the top of the screen it no longer scrolled down enough. Screenshot_20220909-235712_Vespucci.jpg

How far did it scroll down? IIRC it simply brings the house number in to view.

I'm kind of finding that it consistently doesn't scroll down to the right spot. I assume that when there's lots of tags it just doesn't scroll down far enough. Or maybe it has something to do with the larger font size that I like to use. The house number box isn't even anywhere on the screen, I have to scroll the screen down further to see it. It should have jumped right to the Box with no mistakes

I can get this to happen if I turn on max magnification plus the largest font.

After checking the code this would seem to be an issue with Androids ScrollView fullScroll and smoothScroll functions.

The above bug report was about the 42 at the top of the screen. There is also a problem with the 42 at the bottom of the screen:

First, let's check the definition, in Way Selected help:

Adds address tags with prediction. Only visible if way is tagged as building.

Okay that's talking about addresses, but when we touch it we end up with a cursor at "levels above ground" for some reason.

To reproduce, be sure to start with a building that has no address tags yet.

I already pointed to the reason for the behaviour here https://github.com/MarcusWolschon/osmeditor4android/issues/1764#issuecomment-1243307235 there is no reason to believe that this will magically fix itself without google.
