Make use of web-map-custom-element self-perpetuating
This is an epic user story.
The idea is that the use of the web-map-custom-element should not only be easy, but its use should facilitate its further use.
For example, If we right click on a map, we might give the ability to copy the current map state to the clipboard, so far as is possible, in order that a user could paste that state into their own page and thus make use of web-map-custom-element self-perpetuating. Similarly, we could format the results of Copy Extent as a <meta name="extent" .../> element, and so on.
Please add your ideas below, and we can potentially create other issues that fall under this rubric.
Is this similar to the view source context menu item? Or do you mean copy the state and paste it in a map on webpage (not the HTML file but the actual page's web map in a browser)?

Related for sure. I anticipate a few / several issues to arise to manage this, and I'm sure I haven't thought of all of them. Certainly when accessing information about the map, we should try to make that information re-usable by another map. Extents, fragments and so on all could be formatted for use in URLs and geometries etc.
Assigning this to new milestone, so we can create other issues and assign the milestone instead of trying to fit it all in under one issue via comments.
