I have the exact same problem like the closed issue #7 Tried again installing the module but fails. The only difference is that I have NxpNfcNci.apk compared to NQNfcNci.apk My phone is OnePlus 5 Here are the files: https://mega.nz/folder/z9cRUIST#cM0ogvP2Z-OAPW3LC1z89A Thanks for the great work!

Thanks for the feedback. Can you join the logs displayed in Magisk to your issue?

Here you go: 104027088_573645776895453_6702205865305028201_n

Some user in the xda thread reported the same issue: magisk_install_log_2020-06-19T12_41_25Z.log.txt

Hi can you try to flash this version with Magisk and post the logs?

Thanks

Hey! Flashed the module, everything says "Done!" but the second when the phone boots and loads the home screen, default popup appears "Shutdown phone..". Like I was pressing the buttons to shut it down but I wasn't then the phone obviously shutdowns (tried it 2-3 times just to be sure, I was forced to disable the module trough TWRP). Here is the log: magisk_install_log_2020-06-21T173709Z.log Thanks for your time

What about this one?

NFCScreenOff-v0.3.0-beta3.zip

Try installing busybox first that may help.

It seems there is an issue with my included curl binaries.

magisk_install_log_2020-06-21T18_55_10Z[1].log I already had busybox installed

Ok I have now changed the order of priority of curl binary in this one: NFCScreenOff-v0.3.0-beta4.zip

If you have curl on you device, it should now use it instead of mine. Hope this one works...

Sorry I cannot troubleshoot on my device because I don't have a rom that lets me perform the odex strategy for disassembling.

lapwat avatar Jun 21 '20 16:06 lapwat

No luck. It's stuck on 'Uploading device's apks for modding (/system/bin/curl)' I could be a 'test device' for you if this could work at all

krisstakos avatar Jun 21 '20 16:06 krisstakos

It's normal to be stuck stuck on 'Uploading device's apks for modding (/system/bin/curl)', it actually is uploading your framework for modding.

For me it is 15Mb but it can be up to 100Mb, just be patient :)

It can be long for two reasons: someone with a slow bandwidth is currently using the server, or your connection itself is slow.

lapwat avatar Jun 21 '20 16:06 lapwat

Okay, I will try again because I interrupt it

krisstakos avatar Jun 21 '20 17:06 krisstakos

The last one installed without problems and it's not shutdowning like before. How can I test if it's working now?

krisstakos avatar Jun 21 '20 17:06 krisstakos

From my tests it doesn't work when the screen is off even if it's locked

krisstakos avatar Jun 21 '20 17:06 krisstakos

  1. Install an NFC app like this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ssaurel.nfcreader

  2. Go to home menu and pass it over a NFC tag, contactless credit card, office card. The phone should vibrate or beep.

  3. Lock your phone and repeat step 2. Your phone should have the same behavior.

lapwat avatar Jun 21 '20 21:06 lapwat

It doesn't not vibrate/scan on when the screen off/locked
