Identify patients with arterial catheters, with time of insertion and removal, what is the best way?

Hi everyone! We are working on a project on the use of arterial biology in intensive care patients. As part of the eICU, we would like to identify patients with arterial catheters, with the date and time of insertion and removal. We are thinking of using the "Bedside monitor data table" "vital periodic", patients with invasive blood pressure measurement. Hopefully this is an indirect way, does anyone have a better idea?

Thanks a lot!

Hello, This may be one way of obtaining this data. You may want to also look at the other tables. Sometimes tables such as nursecare will have data regarding routine care done to document equipment cleaning, etc.

Documentation practices vary across hospitals, so not finding this information (e.g., in nursecare) may not indicate you're wrong, but if you did find it would provide greater face validity of your assumptions for that set of patients.
