A server for discussing stuff related to this project?

I think it'd be nice to have a public chat for this project.

I am considering the following options:

  • IRC
  • Discord
  • Gitter

In my opinion, the best option here would be Discord, as it's very widespread and easy to use (IRC is imo confusing for begginers)

Discord +1 Gitter is good but requires a GitHub account as far as I remember

Discord of course. Slack? Also confusing.

Telegram is an option but somehow for group chats I prefer Discord over Telegram, as you can have multiple channels. I feel like the group would easily get messy on Telegram, whereas on Discord it's easier to manage it in the long-run.

Slack - preferably no as you don't have chat history and I somehow prefer Discord over it.
