That would be very useful! I am adding a Share button to files monitored by git-annex-turtle, this would help out there a lot, since I want to place the public URL in the user's clipboard after they confirm Sharing. Could the reporting of the URL be in some easily parsable form?

The URLs will be available via git annex whereis, which supports the --json option.
