Correct default values

I don't know if this is incorrect but for the heterogenous volume node, you can't plug in an absorption depth input.
I'm not sure you interpreted the description right. If you are referring to the wiki article, it mentions this in conjunction with the use of a volume. In this case setting transmission to full white makes sense because then the volume fully controls the transmission. But without a volume, full white transmission is not necessarily "more correct".
Regarding the absorption depth: I am not 100% sure ad-hoc, but as I see it this parameter is essentially a multiplier to the absorption color texture. Maybe it would make sense to assign a 3D-texture to this as well (to allow different physical quantification). In any case, that would be an update to LuxCore first, not BlendLuxCore
You're right. I didn't pay enough attention to the specifics of the manual.
Shall I leave this open for people to add to the list, even though there'll be nothing on it for now?
Sorry, this slipped my mind in the last weeks due to some travels. No, I would not suggest to leave this one open, as there is no specific suggestion to work on as an action item. (Contrary to this, issue https://github.com/LuxCoreRender/BlendLuxCore/issues/1011 does)
My philosophy on this: The GitHub Issue tracker is the primary tool for documenting work, closest to the code. It should remain as short and clean as possible so that we don't loose an overview. Any Issue should describe a specific problem. I don't want to collect issues of the form "Maybe we will find a problem of this type in the future."
The forums or Discord would be better suited for an initial discussion like showing off a workflow that would benefit from more material presets.
