Sorry this took a while. I was running the APOD API on Heroku, they changed their pricing and took down all free instances. I've now ported it to work as serverless functions, and have deployed to Vercel, at: apod.as93.net.

I've merged a PR which to update the endpoint to point to the new API, which has fixed this now.
