Request: Section on "The Lisp Curse"
I suggest the |cl cookbook| should have a small section dispelling the myth of the "Lisp Curse". This ("The Lisp Curse") article often gets posted on the internet whenever some Lisp discussion is in place, giving a wrong impression of the Lisp community from the many baseless claims sputtered from the mind of its author into the internet.
A point-by-point rebuttal can be created and IMO ought to be there.

I was thinking we could have a FAQ, and this could fit in it.

I like this:
Of course it's stupid if everyone makes their own stuff instead of working together to create a standardized thing that is well documented and serves everyone. That's how Common Lisp came to be.
Replace Lisp with JavaScript and the Article would read basically the same.
