Why is there no screenshots of this web browser on Github or your website?

There is no need, this project is under active development.

Probably because they are not very interesting: Image (thanks Github, for moving the left window border to the right of the image on upload..)

I would agree with dr-raypc in regards to screenshots in the long run - people are naturally curious and will ask "how does ladybird look on my desktop, smartphone ... compared to firefox, chrome" etc.. Perhaps it may not fit into the main README as such, and ladybird may not offer a lot of variety right now anyway. But, for instance, say in 6 months from now on, ladybird may possibly be closer to some kind of semi-ready release. Then it may also be nice to have a few screenshots of some websites working and how they may look by default: wikipedia, perhaps youtube (or as much of it that can work), websites for online-shop and online-transactions (perhaps 5 websites or so) ... a few more. This could be done manually or programmatically. Anyway - it is probably indeed not as important right now as SINF-KEN pointed out, but perhaps it could be part of a later TODO step, at the least when ladybird is closer to its first official release, as part of "visual showcase", to bundle the screenshots in some place. Could also happen on the wiki here, e. g. under a subsection screenshots/, and it could start with the existing screenshots that are available. (And, also perhaps some showcasing of CSS effects too, although this could also be done by a website, or local .html pages that test this functionality, again for showcase-purposes.)

For a look at how Ladybird evolves month over month, follow along with the Ladybird browser update videos on the official Ladybird channel: https://www.youtube.com/@LadybirdBrowser/videos. This is how you can get a glimpse of the browser's UI as well as the pages it is able to render shown in the demo segments of these videos without the Ladybird team having to work on premature productization of the browser by adding screenshots of the browser when it doesn't even publish official releases yet.

I'm going to close this for now. We do actually have a couple of screenshots on Ladybird.org, at least of the macOS UI - one is on the right of Psychpsyo's screenshot. It's not showing an actual website, but... websites look like themselves, and that doesn't seem very interesting to show (to me at least). There's also the fact that we render just about every website slightly wrong, and that improves regularly, so a screenshot of an actual website would look bad and go outdated quickly. The UI itself is also not something we've put much time into.

For the GitHub readme, I don't think it would add anything.
