Upgrade banner always appears even after reload after clean shutdown
Describe the bug Upgrade banner always appears on boot, even after clean shutdown on app on last run (with no upgrade in versions between runs, this is with static unchanging binaries)
I really don't care to know that DIVE's version has been updated everytime I load it (and it hasn't). That said, I'm on a development PC that has gone through multiple versions of DIVE so maybe that has something to do with it I hope, but I recently deleted the VIAME_DATA folder, and pressed the resync button in DIVE.
Ubuntu 18.04, 64-bit

The banner doesn't go away until you dismiss it with the X.
I did, it still comes up everytime
Revisiting this 2 hours later, I deleted my VIAME_DATA folder again, then resynced to a new empty folder. Now I'm seeing different behaviour including the banner not coming up, but all of my previously deleted datasets are and are now undeletable.

You need to resync the data in the settings. Different versions of the application have their own localstorage where that list exists. I think a better solution is to provide information about synching when these errors occur.
