Suddenly can not connect to network

It works yesterday, but suddenly can not connect to network by ethernet, even if I rebuild a new VM.

I'd try to remove ethernet and add a new one, but still not work. It shows connected but can not browsing any site.

I add 8.8.8.8 to the ethernet DNS, now it works.

I've actually been having this for some time. I noticed its almost always when I turn my VPN on within the Host (Mullvad if it matters). Often even turning the VPN off again will still not allow the Guest to connect; and in extreme case from last week, even stopping-starting the Guest didn't help. I've tried to set the DNS manually to multiple options, and none work for me. Any ideas? I'm on public wiki often as I travel, so no-VPN isn't an option for me, and sadly my Guest machine is my Work instance.
