What project are you guys working on ? I think we need to develop a version compatible with latest blender version . Any one knows how to build it . I have budget for such project . Please let me know .

Blender 2.79 is still a requirement for the BCB to function. There are plans to port to the latest Blender version, but due to lack of financial support from other institutions, this is not a high priority for us at the moment.
