Google Maps renders without grid lines

When the google map is first rendered, the map is missing country lines and some of the markers are show but they are in the wrong location. However, when you move the map or click a marker, the grid lines show and the remaining markers appear. Has anyone had this issue before? If so, any tips for what I am doing wrong initial render
