Keep typehead open for multiple selections

Hi,

There are cases when the user would like to choose more than 1 option from the autocomplete results. Currently they have to type, choose a result, the typehead closes, type again, choose again and so forth... Is there anyway to keep the typehead open so that they can choose multiple results without the need to retype the same letters every time?
